A Stover nuts are all-metal, prevailing torque self-locking nuts designed to provide high-strength fastening in environments prone to severe vibration and extreme heat. Unlike standard nuts, they feature a unique "cone-shaped" top where the threads have been intentionally distorted to create an interference fit with the mating bolt.
